Post-operative physiotherapy restores movement following surgery or after a fracture. It will also increase muscle strength and joint amplitude.
Post-operative physiotherapy must be carried out quickly to avoid long-term sequelae for the patient. Physiotherapy is almost always indicated postoperatively.
