Sport Physiotherapy is an integral part of the specialities of the Medical Center. Sports Physiotherapy is the specialised branch of physiotherapy which deals with injuries and issues related to sports people.
The Sport Physiotherapist will help any sportman, whatever his sport and level. A consultation with a sport physiotherapist will be done in close collaboration with the Sport doctor. Other doctors from the Medical Center could be involved when appropriate and according to their speciality (Cardiologist, rumathologist, pneumologist...)
The main objective of the Sport physiotherapist is to allow you to quickly resume your regular sports activities. During physio treatment, careful attention is paid to traumatic injury prevention (sprain, strain, dislocation, ...) and micro-trauma prevention (tendinitis, periostitis,...).
Treatments also apply to patients requiring post-operative rehabilitation (orthopedic surgery) or willing to be well prepared for their regular sport activities.
